About Dr. Showalter
Dr. Scott Showalter, D.C. (30+ Years Experience)
I was born and raised in Western New York, attending Iroquois Central School. I now live in Alden with my beautiful wife Susanne. We have three precious girls: Fallon, Piper, and Jade -- who are the pride and joy of our lives.
Since 1973 I have been weight training as an amateur body builder. I’ve competed in eight contests, gaining the title of Mr. USA Natural 1989. I was also the place kicker for the semi-pro Buffalo Gladiators from 2000 to 2002.
I attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, earning my bachelor’s degree in Human Biology in 1987 and my Doctoral degree in Chiropractic three years later. In 1990 I began my career in the San Franciso Bay area as an associate doctor. In 1992, I returned home for private practice in Niagara Falls and then Cheektowaga before settling here in Alden in 1994. In 2014, I started a seperate business for weightloss consultation.
